About Mia

Practice and all is coming

After years working in jewelry making business, build her own brand and produced 9 jewelry making books, conducting workshops and classes, doing fairs in Indonesia and Singapore, Mia decided to concentrate more on her yoga practice. She finished her 200 hours YTTC in 2015 in Singapore, and started bringing her yoga journey to other direction. She spread the love of yoga to every one else around her, giving private classes and sharing her passion to her students and inspiring them to dig deep and keep practicing. She teaches Gentle Yoga, Power Yoga and Power Flow, Vinyasa, Yin yoga with integrated acupressure, and as a trained dharmayogawheel teacher, she also conduct yoga-wheel classes and workshops, as well conducting sound healing classes. After moving to Beijing, China in 2017, She took acupuncture and moxibustion course, and started practicing acupuncture for self healing and also for friends and family. She learnt that our body has all the tools we need to self-heal, we just need to know the knowledge and have the skill to do it.
She finished her 300-hour in Vinyasa Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India. In more than 7 years of practicing Yoga, she learnt that yoga might have changed her way of thinking about herself, her mind, her body and about the world. She now believed that everything is possible, as long as we are willing to work on it. Determination and strong will are the keys, and practices is the tools. Like when doing the impossible poses in Yoga, it is possible as long as we put enough effort to reach it, and be mindful in the process.
